Outstanding treatments

The process of treating an animal (e.g. an injury) can take a long time. In this case, the veterinarian makes a new treatment record with each visit. In such a case, the owner can make the payment when the treatment is completed. In the program PANTHEON VET the list of outstanding treatments (the treatment has not yet been completed, the binding document invoice or delivery note has not yet been created) can be easily checked.

In this chapter, we will present an example of how you can easily check the list of outstanding treatments. The functionality is located in the menu Veterinarian | Registers | Owners and animals, on the tab Outstanding.

CASE SUMMARY A veterinarian treated a sick dog. A re-examination will be required, so the veterinarian did not complete the treatment. At the next visit, the receptionist checks the list of outstanding treatments. The procedure is described below.

• The person responsible at the veterinary station searches for the owner of the animal in the Register of Owners and animals. The detailed search procedure is described in chapter Search for owners and animals - Simple.

• On the Outstanding tab, the person responsible clicks on the Outstanding treatments subtab, where the person responsible sees a list with the details of each treatment.
