First open Employee Files from the menu:

2. Required Input in Employee Files for Viewing Employee in Payroll
In order to be able to view employee in Payroll you have to enter the following five criteria:
1. Enter registration number and employee's number.

2. Enter employment start and employment end in Employment Records.

3. Enter position (of employment).

4. Check Payroll in Salary Parameters.

5. Set document type and period in Pay Slips.

However, the above criteria are not sufficient for preparation of payroll, royalties, work contract, etc. See topic Correctly Performed Payroll Work History. To correctly calculate grade of work history for employee, you have to enter all work history in company and outside company as well as date of employment start.
