General
In this tab, you can enter and modify general data of the animal.
| Name |
Enter the name of the animal. |
| Animal type |
Enter or select an animal type. You can open the corresponding register by double-clicking the field. |
| Animal categ. |
Enter or select animal category. You can open the corresponding register by double-clicking the field. |
| Breed |
Enter or select an animal breed. You can open the corresponding register by double-clicking the field. |
| Sex |
Enter or select the sex of the animal. |
| Status |
Enter or select animal status. Default value is 1-Alive. |
| ID |
You can enter the animal ID or you can click the  button and the program will automatically generate an ID. When we enter animal category "Dog" and we save the data, the program will warned us that the ID should be written in 15 digits.

| Date of birth |
Enter or select the date of birth of the animal. Date of birth is a required field for dogs and equines, otherwise an error is displayed. |

For Special note we have codebooks when we can added all special note. Doubleclick in field Special note opened the
codebooks-Special Note

CREATE NEW GROUP
| Group ID |
Enter the group ID. ID can be create also automaticaly. |
| Group name |
Enter the name of the group. |
| Animal type |
Enter or select an animal type. You can open the corresponding register by double-clicking the field. |

Enter or select animal category. You can open the corresponding register by double-clicking the field. |
| Breed |
Enter or select an animal breed. You can open the corresponding register by double-clicking the field. |

Enter the number of animals in the group. |
| Status |
Enter or select animal status. Default value is 1-Alive. |
| Date of birth |
