Force TLS 1.2 |
Force only TLS 1.2 for secure socket communication. Pantheon also supports TLS 1.2 in email comunication. Pantheon supports older SSL, TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 protocols which are needed for clients that are still on older mail servers without support for newer TLS 1.2. Majority of servers will select best common supported protocol.
Some servers disallow client support for older protocols. In that case, it is required to force only newer TLS 1.2 protocol to support email communication via those servers. Checking this option, Pantheon will announce support only for TLS 1.2 in secure communication layer. Selecting this option will make connection most secure and the connestion process will be fastest possible.
