WO - Manufacturing

For components and repro materials from simple work orders (simple manufacturing).

Clicking the tab WO - Consumption in the bottom panel displays information on the released WOs that are unfinished or partially finished and where this item is needed to produce a finished product. This takes into account all levels of the BOM (see the chapter Creating Work Orders). All lines with negative quantities are excluded from the data displayed in WO -Consumption. They are excluded because such items increase the available stock, which is not desirable in most cases. Such negative lines could be caused if the consumption on a WO was higher than planned or if material was issued with the option Create Work Preparation enabled.

Warning

Regardless of the option Include Only Valid Orders, all unfinished or partially completed WOs affect the available stock. A list of all WOs is displayed, regardless of the warehouse selected in the panel Stock.

WARNING

For users of Manufacturing Scheduling (MF), this information is determined using a different method, see the chapter Stock Movement Overview, panel Details | Allocated (-).
