If you click on the Stock button   in the Lines tab of a sales order, the program will open a window (Available Stock), where you can check the currently available stock for the item from the selected sales order line (see also Available stock).

in the Wizards menu is also a function through which you can check available stock for all items on the order  (see Check available stock for order and suggest deliver-by date).
