Search for classifications

For easier navigation and search in the Classification Scheme, you can use the Search feature. The feature enables you to easily search classifications or classification groups.

CASE SUMMARY
The Tecta company concluded a new rental contract for an office. The person responsible wants to correctly archive the contract and review the provisions for rental contracts. For this purpose, the person responsible uses the Search feature.

The person responsible wants to find the correct classification and consequently the archive for the selected document.
To do this, the person responsible selects Settings | Documentation | Classification Scheme.
A form with the company's Classification Scheme opens.

In the toolbar of the form, the person responsible enters a part of the name of the "rental" into the Search field and selects the
(Search) button.

PANTHEON colours the result in the Classification Scheme orange.

HINT
If the search string contains multiple classifications, multiple classifications are coloured. Below, see a case of searching classifications that contain the word "plan" in Material Type.

The person responsible can review and edit classification settings on the right side if needed.
In practice, authorizations of classifications mean that different employees of the company have different accesses to the documentation. The director of the company can, for example, see and edit all documentation, personnel documents can be seen and edited by users employed in human resources, and IT has access to business documentation.
