Ad-Hoc analyses

 Ad-hoc analyses

Ad-hoc analize are used for business analytic without using OLAP server and processing OLAP cubes. Instead, Ad-Hoc analyses use SQL statements where you define measurements and dimensions and create pivot tables.

Ad-Hoc analyses require .dll files for their use. If .dll files are not found on the computer or new version of .dll files apperar, transfer process is started automatically when Ad-Hoc analysis is opened or newly created.

1. Form buttons

Top bar of Ad-Hoc form contain different buttons that are used to work with Ad-Hoc analyses.

Adds decimal numbers to results of Ad-Hoc analysis.
Removes decimal numbers to results of Ad-Hoc analysis.
Opens Ad-Hoc editor from Ad-Hoc window.
Exports Ad-Hoc data to Excel file.
Shows graph horizontally below the Ad-Hoc results grid.
Shows graph vertically od the right edge of the Ad-Hoc results grid.
Opens Ad-Hoc window from Ad-Hoc editor.
Opens Ad-Hoc editor from Ad-Hoc window.
