SMS and email notification settings

Customers can be notified about a received order, reminded of an arranged appointment, notified about a special sales offer, etc.

The notification process is controlled by preliminary business preparations.

The following steps are needed for the business processes connected with SMS and email notification services to work:

  4. Information about the telephone number and email in the Subjects register

1. Activating the eSMS notification service

To send SMS messages or use the SMS notification service, the SMS notification service must be activated beforehand.

WARNING

Activating the eSMS notification service is a one-time process. If you have already completed it, you can skip this step.

2. eSMS service Mailbox import

SMS notification exchange through the preliminary business processes flows through the eSMS service Mailbox, which can be downloaded via Web service to the Contacts registry.

3. Import of the business process via Web service

For the SMS and email notification service eWorkflow import follow the process described in the chapterTransferring eWorkflow via PANTHEON Web Service.

4. The telephone number and email information in the Subjects register

For successful sending of SMS messages to subjects, the Subjects register | General must have the telephone number and email of the subject, where notifications will be sent to.

HINT
  • For PANTHEON VET license users the imput of contact numbers and email is more detailed. You can read about it in the Owner Entry chapter.
  • In order for the program to send a message to the owner, the checkbox next to the GSM number imput field must be checked. This signifies that the owner consents to SMS messaging notifications.
