Split PDF for ePosting (ePost Split PDF)

The eWorkflow enables you to split a single PDF document consisting of multiple documents marked with a special stamp into individual PANTHEON documents. Before scanning the documents into a single PDF file, you need to mark all the first pages of the invoices with a special stamp.

The predefined eWorkflow is part of a set of eWorkflows that enable the operation of the ePosting system, as shown in the flow chart below.

By scanning, you can capture different types of documents, such as received invoices, contracts, claims, etc. in a PDF document and import them as a single PDF file into PANTHEON. All the documents from the single PDF file can then be broken down into separate documents using the above eWorkflow.

This eWorkflow can be divided into three important steps:

1. Selecting a PDF document in eDocumentation and sending it for scanning and splitting. In this step, the key block is the Document to DMS block.
2. Creating separate PDF documents from scanning and transferring (importing) them into eDocumentation. In this step, the key blocks are the REST mailbox and User message blocks.
3. Changing the status of the source PDF document to Finished. In this step, the key block is the Load to DMS block.

For the eWorkflow to work properly, you first need to import it via PANTHEON Web Service and then define the basic eWorkflow settings.
