Search for WO and operations

The Work Orders/Employees form allows you to select and add work orders (WO) and employees to the Daily Plan form.

The Operations form allows you to review and select operations of a selected work order (WO) from Work Orders/Employees form of a Daily Plan.

Below, see a use case fort his feature.

Case summary

The responsible that prepared the Daily plan for workers by shift can now easily select, schedule and review the daily plan items. The responsible person wants to transfer work orders to the operations specified in the work order. This is done as follows:

  1. Document type for WO
  2. Document type for operations
  3. Work orders and operations in the daily plan

1. Document type for WO

The responsible person accesses the settings from the menu Settings | Program | Document Types.

The document types register opens, and they expand the Plans tab. The responsible person selects the Daily Plan panel and then chooses the Work Orders panel.

In this section they can select which work orders are assigned to the daily plan.

They can choose All and Custom.

In our case, the responsible person selects Custom, and a table for creating a custom list of work order document types assigned to the daily plan, which is document 6000 in our case, appears on the form.

2. Document type for operations

The responsible person accesses the settings from the menu: Settings | Program | Document Types.

The document types register opens, and they expand the Plans table.

The responsible person selects the Daily Plan panel and then chooses the Operation Types panel.

In this section they can select which operation types are assigned to the daily plan.

In our case, the responsible person selects Custom, and a table for creating a custom list of operation types assigned to the daily plan appears on the form.

The responsible person enters or selects the ID of the operation type from the Item Types register that they want to assign to the daily plan, which in our case are types 700 and 701.

3. Work orders and operations in the daily plan

The responsible person can search for work orders and operations using various filters. They can also review data about work orders, operations on work orders, and so on.

The Work Orders/Employees form can be found on the right side of the Daily Plan form and can be shown by clicking the   button. The form can be hidden by clicking the  button.

Warning

By clicking the  button, you can open the form in a separate window.

The responsible person wants to filter work orders using filters in the header.

In our case, they want to filter all work orders from September 1st to September 31st that are in progress.

The responsible person transfers work orders to the daily plan using the drag-and-drop.

They then clicks on  button in the work order and opens a window with operations where they select the operations of the chosen work order.

From this operations card, they can specify a particular operation and transfer it to a specific position in the work order using the drag-and-drop function.
