Working Time Records

At the company level, we can define the work schedule, work categories that will serve as lunch breaks, other types of breaks and work type for holiday.

1. Working Hours and Break Categories
Working Hours |
We enter the code for working hours in case we have an individual employee that has different working hours; we can enter it in his/her hours in Employee Files in Working Hours in Planned working time. |

Lunch Break Category
|
We open the dropdown window by pressing in the icon in the end of the field. The setting is used to add rules for a lunch break category.

Category
|
We enter the ID of a code from Calendar Entry Types from the panel Working Hours of a break.
|
Name
|
Name of the chosen Calendar Entry Types ID is displayed. We can also manually change the name here.
|
After Start
|
We enter when the employee can go to lunch break in a working day. For example: we have that the first hour of a working day employee cannot go to a meal break.
|
Before end
|
We enter until when the employee can go to lunch break during a working day. For example: we have that the last hour of a working day employee cannot go to a meal break.
|
Approved time
|
We enter how long this break can last and it is included to the working time.
|
Transfer
|
We can confirm the checkbox in case we allow that the breaks are transferred from one day to another. For example: on Monday we did not go to lunch break and we will transfer this 30 min to Tuesday.

Break Categories
|
We open the dropdown window by pressing in the icon in the end of the field. The setting is used to add rules for break categories.

Category
|
We enter the ID of a code from Calendar Entry Types from the panel Working Hours of a break.
|
Name
|
Name of the chosen Calendar Entry Types ID is displayed. We can also manually change the name here.

Max. breaks
|
We can define how many times we can have this break in a working day.
|
Break length
|
We define how long one break can last. For example: coffee break can last 15 min.
|
Daily limit
|
We define what is the daily limit of a break. For example: we can have more coffee breaks but only the 30 min will be included in the working time.

|
Work type for Holiday |
We can select one or more work types for holidays. Only the types that have under Working hours of Calendar Entry Types the column Work on public holidays enabled can be selected. |
Working Time/ Mandatory Attendance
|
Here we enter two types of rules. This is important for transferring the hours from PAW.

Day
|
We define for which day individual this applies or we can set that it applies to all days.
We select the option from the drop-down list:

Before Start
|
We define how many hours before starting work it is calculated to the working time. For example: planned working time starts at 8 o’clock, we can define here that in case somebody starts working at 7 o’clock that it is calculated in working time.

After End
|
We define how many hours after finishing work it is calculated to the working time. For example: planned working time end at 16 o’clock, we can define here that in case somebody ends working at 17 o’clock that it is calculated in working time.

After Start
|
We define how many hours after starting work the mandatory attendance starts. For example: working time starts at 8 o’clock, we can define here that mandatory attendance is 2 hours after the start of working day.

Before End
|
We define how many hours before ending work the mandatory attendance finish. For example: working time ends at 16 o’clock, we can define here that mandatory attendance is 2 hours after the end of working day.
