Average Salaries By Department
PANTHEON enables the calculation of numerous ways of calculating payrolls. One of them is definition of parameters in relation to the Department.
If a company has some different parameters that are connected to the Department, in the register of Average Salaries, can be added custom fields, which can be used as payroll variables in earning types.
The option is accessed from the menu Settings | Personnel |Payroll | Average Salaries.

Only if the option Salary settings by department in Administration Panel | Settings | Personnel | Payroll is enabled, average salary can be entered for different departments.

In this chapter of User manual, we will present how to enter data in the register of Average Salaries by Department.
The person responsible selects the Settings module from the menu and opens the Personnel |Payroll | Average Salaries

The register Average Salaries appears on the screen and By department tab has been selected, as presented in the image below:

To define period and the department, the person responsible does as follows:
- Period: Selects the period 2023-10

- Department: Selects Management from the list.

- Refresh: After choosing the department, the person responsible clicks the
button to refresh the screen data. The bottom part of the panel now desplays the Management department for period 2023-10:

The person responsible enters the amount in column Bonus (2000 eur) as presented in the image below:

If the department data is no different to the company's data, we leave department fields empty. There is no need to enter department specific data.

In Formulas we reference these columns with variables #FA1#, #FA2#,…#FA9#.

Now in Average Salaries register, the person responsible for the Management department has the amount 2000 eur for Bonus, that can be used in payroll preparation.
