The function is for import entries prepared by the structure of Excel.

Import journal entry from Excel File can be found under Import/Export Data button.

File Path

File path to Excel file.

Open

Open button will open excel file before import.
Transfer Data will be transfer into journal entry.
Register Overview Pantheon will check if prepared data match existing registers in program.
Fill In Missing Registers on Transfer

This option marked will enable to add the missing entries in registers (subjects, chart of accounts, cost holders) at data transfer.

Convert to foreign currency from local currency Converts to the currency entered in the file based on the entered exchange rate and currency
Convert to local currency from foreign currency Converts to local currency from foreign currency entered in the file according to entered currency and exchange rate information
Import only data without errors

As long as this switch is on, the program will not import data with errors to the journal, but it will import data without errors.

If the switch is not checked and we have data with errors, program will not make an import (of data with or without errors) and send us back information:

Excel file should contain following columns in the written order:

  • Journal entry number (if we want to import data to exact number of journal)
  • Period date for journal entry ((if we want to import data to exact number of journal)
  • Account
  • Subject
  • Debit
  • Credit
  • Document
  • Linked Document
  • Document Date
  • Value Date (Due Date)
  • Currency
  • Exchange Rate
  • Department

  • Value Debit (By default, the currency values are filled according to the exchange rate, if there is no value entered here)
  • Value Credit  (By default, the currency values are filled according to the exchange rate, if there is no value entered here)
