Items with serial numbers in dropdown search in multisearch field
In this chapter, the functionality for selection of fields is chosen which are supposed to be seen in dropdown in POS issuing document.
 |
HINT
A serial number (SN) is a number assigned to each individual product in order to distinguish that product from all others. The serial number is sometimes used only for warranty control and sometimes used for both warranty control and for version control. They are usually assigned in sequence per product or product family. Manufacturing normally assigns the serial numbers to each product and adds valid date.

The process is finished by clicking the button
.
 |
WARNING
This Serial No. field is only visible if above-described settings are made first.
|
After saving the changes, the responsible person re-opens the issued POS document and clicks on the drop-down menu in the Item field.

Here, the person in charge already sees that the changes made have been replicated and continues to fill out the document.
 |
Hint
In case Serial No. option is active a new option is displayed: Hide cumulative Serial numbers record. Option is valid only for items set as Serial numbers. In case switch is OFF then in dropdown of item the cumulative row will be shown on top and then the available Serial numbers. In case switch is OFF then in dropdown the cumulative row is not shown.
