Setting subject finder on POS issue document

 

In this chapter, the functionality of setting subject finder for subject search on POS issued document will be described.

Case summary

The person responsible would like to set subject finder on POS invoice in a way that in search dropdown menu fields Subject ID, Subject Name and Tax number are mandatory. Also, the person responsible wants to set parameters by which PANTHEON searches subject in order that Tax number is first criteria which search use to find Subject and that PANTHEON users enters minimum 2 characters in search field in order for program to start searching for subject. In order to do so, the steps listed below should be following:

  1. POS X Settings  

  2. Review of search dropdown menu with new settings

1. POS X Settings

To set subject finder in a different way than predefined on POS Issued document, the responsible person first needs to define adequate POS Settings.

For that purpose, they first click on the  (POS settings) button.

The program will open the POS Settings panel in which the responsible person should select panel Appearance | Subject finder and then select the fields Subject ID, Subject Name and  Tax number  as mandatory.

In order to set Tax number as first criteria which search uses to find Subject, the person responsible enters number 1 in Priority shown on check box Tax No. as shown on picture below:

After setting of priority, the person responsible sets that PANTHEON users enters minimum 2 characters in search field in order for program to start searching for subject:

Finish the process by clicking the button  .

2. Review of search dropdown menu with new settings

In the next step, the person responsible wants to review the effects of previous settings.

After saving changes, the person responsible re- opens the POS issued documents and new subject search by Tax number is ready for use:

After making changes to the POS Settings, you must save them, so you can see the changes on the POS Issued document.
