Scheme of transfers between warehouses

Transfers between repositories within the system

For companies with multiple warehouses, there is a need to transfer identities between warehouses.
In PANTHEON we define one-way transfer between repositories with a special document type format. This relieves the issuing warehouse on the one hand and the receiving warehouse on the other.
So instead of two documents, we can work with only one (as long as the receiving and issuing warehouse are in the same system, disaggregated - we treat non-computerised warehouses differently).disaggregated - we treat computer-unlinked warehouses differently).
In this section we present an example of a transfer scheme between repositories:

Explanation of the scheme:
-
The scheme defines the both directions of transfers between warehouses: Warehouse 1 (Wholesale warehouse), Warehouse 2 (Retail warehouse).
-
Document type 2000 relieves the Wholesale warehouse and burdens the Retail warehouse (in terms of material accounting and balances).
-
The 2100 document type works in reverse, relieving the retail warehouse and burdening the wholesale warehouse.
The above diagram shows how and with what type of document the transfer between warehouses takes place, i.e. the unloading of the issuing warehouse and, on the other hand, the loading of the receiving warehouse.

HINT
First, we suggest you create a material and goods flow diagram, and then work on defining document-typesin PANTHEON.
