New Case
The form New Case is used to enter new legal case. Here we can enter all Case details and save it for further work.

The form opens when we select New Case button on Case toolbar.

IMPORTANT
When we are entering new Related case additional fiel Parent is added to Case general information.

1. Toolbar
The Toolbar of the form New Case contains below buttons:

Saves the case and opens Case list. When new case is saved Internal no. is created. |

Closes the New Case form without saving entered data. |
2. Case general information
Fields where we enter the basic data of the new legal Case.

Customer
|
Client or multiple clients working on the case from Subject register.
To enter new Subject select button and follow instructions Create new subject.

| Case Number |
Unique identifier assigned to a legal case by a court for tracking and reference purposes. |
| Parent Case (Related case) |
Internal number of case/related case. |
Other party  |
Opposing party or multiple parties from Subject register in legal case.
To enter new Subject select button and follow instructions Create new subject.

Representative  |
Person or entity from Subject register authorized to act on behalf of other party in legal case.
To enter new Subject select button and follow instructions Create new subject.

3. Case details
Fields where we enter the detailed data of the new legal Case.

Case status
|
Select the status of the case.
You can choose between:

| Competent court |
Court from Subject register with the legal authority and jurisdiction to hear and decide a specific case.
|
| Person responsible |
Person authorized from Employees to act on behalf of customer in legal case. |
| Participants |
Other participants from Employees in legal case. |
| Dispute value |
Enter the monetary amount or financial stakes involved in a legal case, used to determine jurisdiction or court fees and select currency. |
| Opened on |
Enter opening date of the case. By default, today's date is selected |
| Completion Date |
Enter case closing date, if is known. |
| Case Description |
Enter additional case description.
