Participants in the case 

The tab Case participants shows a list of all participants in the related case. Participants on the case can be customers, other party, witneses and experts. The first two are added automaticaly through case while the latter two are added manually.

HINT

For practical use cases showing how to use features of Cases, see the chapter Cases in user manual.

We access Case participants in Cases toolbar when we select Internal no. of the selected Case.

Below is a description of the form's features:

1. Toolbar

In Toolbar we can acccess the following tabs related to the case:

Toolbar also contains below features:

Parent Case Internal number.
New 

Opens the form New Case.

Because this is New related case Parent case field is showing Partent Internal number. This is the link between related and parent case.

Delete Button to delete Related cases. Button is active when we select one or more Related Cases from the list.
Button closes the form.

 

2. Add section

Add section contain two fields to select data.

Add subject

Subject or participant on the case. We select them from Subject register.

To enter new Subject select  button and follow instructions Create new subject.

Add subject type Combobox to select subject type from list.
Button to add new record to Case participants list.


3. Case participants list

List of all participants on individual case with the following information:

Subject

ID of the subject.

Address

Address of subject.

Subject type Type of subject.
Expense percentage Field is applicable only for customers and it is intended to divide expenses on issued invoices. If case has multiple customers this share structure will be taken into account when invoice is created. 
Representetive Person or entity authorized to act on behalf of customer in legal case.
This icon appears only on participants that were manually added to this grid. Participants like customers and opposite party are added or removed through Case details.
