On this tab you can enter and modify general data for animal.

Enter name of the animal |
| Animal type |
Enter or select an animal type. You can open the corresponding register by double-clicking the field. |
| Animal categ. |
Enter or select animal category. You can open the corresponding register by double-clicking the field. |
| Breed |
Enter or select an animal breed. You can open the corresponding register by double-clicking the field. |
| Sex |
Enter or select sex of the animal |
| Status |
Enter or select animal status. Default value is 1-Live. |
| ID |
You can enter animal ID or you can click button  and program will generate automatic ID. |
| Date of birth |
Enter or select date of birth of animal. Date of birth is required field for dogs and equines |
