Serial Numbers
Serial Numbers
The overview
of serial numbers is an extremely powerful tool for following the items, which
have been recorded by serial numbers. It is only used with the items, which
have the serial numbers assigned either
individually or for the whole batch.
| Report type |
Select
the type of report. By double-clicking the individual type of report it can
also be displayed.

Item
| Enter or select the
item ID,
for which you survey the serial numbers.
|
Name
| Enter or select the
item by name. The fields
ID and Name are linked. If you change one, the other will
change as well.
|
Category
| You may select an individual
classification of items. The data
about classification into which the item belongs is included in the
items register .
|
| Document |
Number of document of receiving, issue or transfer. |
Warehouse
| Enter or select the warehouse , if
you wish to limit the overview of serial numbers to one warehouse only.

Department
| Only for the
overviews of the history of
serial numbers and the overview of serial numbers in unfinished production,
the report can be limited to an individual department from positions of
documents of receiving, issues and transfers in the overviews.

Customer/Supplier
| The field,
with which you limit the overview on certain business subjects from the
documents of receiving, issues and transfers.
|
| Serial number |
If you
wish the overview for a certain serial number, enter the serial number in
this field. |
From date
|
From this date on, the goods movements with the report of the overview are
taken into consideration. |
|
To date | Date,
until which the goods movements with the overview report are being
considered.

| Serial number input |
The report can be limited according to the type of input of the serial numbers,
as selected in the items register, as the
following:
By default all types of serial numbers entry are selected for the report. |
| Serial number templates: |
the report can furthest be limited also according to the
code of the serial number template from the item register (for example, only for a certain code of the product variation) |
| With the click on this icon or double click on selected type of report,
the display of data is being triggered.

All selection fields (except the name of the item) allow for the
use of wildcards and the empty field.
When executing the report please be patient; this calculation might require
more time with larger databases. |
