Animal register

PANTHEON FA contains animal register for Cattle, Sheep, Goat, Pigs and Horses. Register is used for reviewing all animals on farm. It contains general information about specific animal and movements of specific animals.

Through this window, you can also create new animal records for animals without unique ID, you can enter animal arrival, movement and departure.

Selecting checkbox Show only active shows only animals that are not disposed and is selected by default.

Data is inserted through animal record or through pop-up windows.

Animal ID ID of individual animal. If animal doesn't have unique ID, they get auto generated ID - AUTOID. For these animals you don't se individual animal record, you have to first create it.
Common name / Internal mark Name of the animal (for sheep, goat and pigs this is internal number).
Date of birth Date of animal birth.
Date Marked Date when animal was marked (got unique ID and animal record) - for pigs, sheep, goat and horses.
Sex Sex of the animal.
Type of animal Type of animal for sheep and goat.
Breed Breed of animal.
FADN type Type of FADN group for individual animal.
Weight (kg) Last inserted weight of animal.
Purpose Purpose of animal.
Flock Flock or group, to which animal was assigned.
Dam ID ID of animal's dam.
Sire ID ID of animal's sire.
Status Production status of the animal.
Registration Date of registration to national animal register

Through animal register, you can enter events of data movement:

Animal register also contains some wizards, which can be accessed with click on wizard button 

 

Move

Type of Move

User picks type of movement. He can choose from different types:

  • Departure to fair.
  • Return from fair.
  • Departure to mountain.
  • Return from mountain.
  • Departure to pasture.
  • Return from pasture.
  • Movement within the farm.
Date Moved Date of animal movement.
Move Several Animals If user wants to move more than one animal at the same time.
Animal ID If user moves just animal, he picks an animal from drop-down menu.
Current Holding Current holding od animal.
New Holding New holding of animal(s).
Full Name Full name of new owner.
Address Address of new holding.
Postal Area Postal area of new holding.
Country Country of new holding.

Creating Record

Animal Id New, unique ID of an animal.
Purpose Purposeof an animal (if it changed from birth).
Date Marked Date of animal marking (predefined date of event),
