Reports register

Settings specific to FastReport for Pantheon can only be set in the Reports register window that is available in the application in the Settings menu | Program | Reports. You can also open it from the report preview by clicking the button  and using the convenient menu in the print tree.

In the Reports Register window, we can, among other things, set up:

  • Report code in field ID
  • The name of the report in the Name field
  • The default printer in the Default printer field
  • Number of copies in the field Number of copies
  • Active - Switch Activates whether the report is available
  • If no Data for Report - specifies what the program does if the report does not have any data
  • Sort by input field determines the order of data sorting in report, more precisely the order of data, which are usually fields from datasets, in the ORDER BY part of the SQL statement.
  • The Preview Preview check box determines whether a preview is displayed before printing.

If this setting is set to false, we can print large amounts of data by mistake

  • In column Inactive for Doc. Types on the right side of the window, enter which types of documents will not be displayed. The report on the picture will not be available for document types 300, but will be available for all other document types where it can be displayed.

By clicking on the Wizard button , we open the menu in which we open the Design report window without data. In this menu, we can also run the Ares procedure for searching text in reports.

By clicking on the Import / Export button , we open a menu where you can select the menu selection for import (Load from disk) and export reports (Save to disk), Transfer registers (reports) from Datalab web service...
