Add animals to PANTHEON Farming
This section explains, how we add animals to PANTHEON Farming. Before we can add animals we have to prepare database (check link at the bottom of this page).
Since rearing methods are a bit different for animal types (individual ID for cattle vs. group record for poultry), data recording is also a bit different.
Adding animals with animal unique ID
 |
This section is applicable for cattle, sheep, goat, pigs for breeding and horses. |
Animals in this sections are added individually with ID for each animal. To simplify data entry we also enable insert of multiple animals at once.
- Individual animal through animal record enables inserting one animal at the time by clicking on button New record in caption on the page.
- Individual animal through animal register works the same way as adding animal through animal record. We can add animals on register through modal window by clicking on button Acquisition.
- Import of animals through Excel where animals can be imported from Excel file. Template of Excel file can be exported to keep the same form at import.
- Group arrivals where we select same properties (breed, gender, arrival type...) of inserted animals and we insert different IDs for each animal. Record will be first copied to same form as Excel import and later saved to PANTHEON Farming. This option is useful to insert arrival by reading passports with barcode scanner.
Adding animals with group ID or without ID
 |
This section is applicable for pigs for fattening and poultry. |
In this modules animals are added in groups.
- In pigs for fattening animals are added with ID where each arrival can have multiple different IDs or animals can be added to already existing ID.
- In poultry animals are also added in group but in this case without ID of the group.
