Milk Analysis - Cattle

Milk Analysis - Cattle

Milk analysis is used for recording results of AT4 milk analysis. Through this module, users can enter information about milk quantity on milk controls and software will calculate values according to standardized formula.

When user opens milk control module, he will get a list of all female animals, that have status "In lactation." Animals with status "Sick" or "In quarantine" ar excluded from the list.

User has to insert information about previous milking and milk control. He also has to mark if it is morning or evening milking (information are preset based on hour of event entry). This information are used for milk quantity calculation.

On animals list, he hs two choices:

1. Control: if animal was in this milk control, he can insert actual quantity of milk in kg. When user inserts milk quantity, animal is selected automatically.

2. Dry-off: if animal was in previous control and is not present in current control. This means tha animal is dried off. User changes type of data entry from Control to Dry-off and inserts date of dry-off. This will insert date of dry-off to database and close the lactation cycle. Animal will disappear from the list.

User can insert information for more than one animal at the time. When he inserts information, animal is automatically selected. He can deselect it by removing the tick.
