Service work orders differentiate from other types in two significant points: It is not required that you define a document type when receiving finished product, that is, document type of issue is of the Document type. (As already known issue slip of Internal type is set for other work order types.) Internal document of issue will not be opened after confirming work order. Invoice for services is opened instead.

Let us look at the example of car service as presented in the introductory topic and create a product specification. Here item type 701, type U - Compound Service will be used. Here you can enter specification for: document type of manufacturing. Select 6A0 - Services.

Issue work order for 1 service.

Having confirmed WO opens an invoice of service.

Items from specification appear in lines of documents. Sales prices and tax types are also included with item IDs!
