How to use more chart of accounts on account settings, financial reports, templates for automatic posting and distribution keys?

Each financial report, account settings, template for automatic posting and distribution key can be prepared for any chart of accounts. Therefore registers for financial reports, distribution keys, document types (inventory and VAT accounts) has a field for settings Chart of accounts.

When we open registers for financial reports, distribution keys, document types (inventory and VAT accounts), templates for automatic posting, there will be by default shown chart of accounts marked as active chart of account .

In automatic posting and close outstanding items by re-posting will be used the posting matrix valid for a period date chart of accounts when creating a journal.

Financial reports will used chart of accounts valid for the period which suits the date of validity of the chart of accounts.

Account settings can be set for each chart of accounts separately.

If we review and / or change settings for the not active chart of account, the field Chart of Accounts is colored red.

When we don't have account settings for the new chart of accounts and have account settings for the old one, old account setting can be transfer to the new one by using wizard function Transfer Account Matrix.

Pantheon will ask us if we want to copy settings for inventory and VAT accounts from the previous chart of accounts. Setting will be transferred by confirming the message.

Function will work only when account settings matrix is empty.
