Animal Type

Animal Type

 

Animal Type is the first level – out of three – to classify animals.

Show only Active

We can show only the animal types that are currently active.

ID

The ID is generated automatically and can not be modified by the user.

Name

Enter a Description of the animal type. The description MUST be unique and cannot be repeated.
Data type Data type determines which tab will open when entering new animal. The following options are available: 
  • 1 – Dogs
  • 2 – Cats
  • 3 – Cattle
  • 4 – Equines
  • 5 – Sheeps and goats
  • 6 -  Pigs
  • 7 -  Other
  • 8 -  Poultry
Withdrawal period If checked withdrawal period is shown in treatment document
Practice type

We can choose between two practice:

  • small practice
  • big practice

Act.

Defines if a record is active or not. Just active records are shown to users when entering new or modifying existing animals.
