Pantheon post exchange differences in total amount on revenue and expenditure accounts. |
 |
With the option marked will Pantheon post all foreign exchange rate differences (positive and negative) on the side of posted invoice. Thus we have the valuation of receivables all entries on the debit side and the valuation of suppliers all entries on the credit side of an account. Revenue and expenditure from exchange rate differences will be posted accordingly in relation to the content of the exchange rate difference (revenue or expenditure).
For proper posting of exchange differences we must ensure that we do not have customers overpayments and payments without link document.
The same apply also for suppliers, where we need, for the proper posting of exchange differences, to ensure that the liabilities has no overpayments and payments are not without link document data.
If we do not do mentioned postings or entered link document for payments, entries of exchange differences will be posted on debit side for receivables and credit side for the liabilities.
