Purpose of use of Fixed Assets Register in Acquisition

We can follow the purchase flow of fixed assets by using register of fixed assets in acquisition. Fixed asset is activated when it is ready for use. Then place it in the register of fixed assets in use. FA in acquisition are not posted to the general ledger and are for information purposes only.
