The field is automatically populated with the current date but can also be manually selected or edited.
Upon transfer, this date is recorded as the Activation date in both the Accounting and Value tab.

FA in Acquisition

The name of the FA in acquisition that will be transferred, as entered in the Name field in the Header.
This field is automatically populated and cannot be edited.

(Fixed Asset)

The name of the FA that will be recorded in the Fixed Assets register upon transfer, displayed in the Name field of the Header.
The name can be manually changed by clicking the field and editing the value.

The secondary name of the FA that will be recorded in the Fixed Assets register upon transfer, displayed in the Name 2 field of the Header.
The name can be manually changed by clicking the field and editing the value.

Existing FA
(Existing Fixed Asset)

Select an existing FA from the drop-down menu. The fixed asset in acquisition will be transferred to the selected FA.
The list contains all FA currently in the Fixed Assets register.

This field is visible only when the Transfer to Existing FA radio button is selected.

Hint
When FAs are merged, the existing FA in the Fixed Assets register receives a new Entry Type 1 - Acquisition, which reflects the value of the transferred FA in acquisition.

| Purchase Value |
The total purchase value of the FA in acquisition, as entered in the Purchase Value field in the Value tab.
This field is automatically populated and cannot be edited.

| % Transferred |
If any portion of the FA in acquisition has already been transferred, this field displays the percentage transferred.
This field is automatically populated and cannot be edited.

| Value Transferred |
If a portion of the FA’s value has already been transferred, this field displays the amount transferred.
This field is automatically populated and cannot be edited.

| % for Transfer |
Enter the percentage of the value to be transferred to the Fixed Assets register.
The percentage is set to 100% by default but can be manually edited by clicking the field.

If the percentage is entered first, the system automatically calculates the Value for Transfer.
