General
NewPOS enables a coupon program. Before paying the receipt, the customer can scratch off the coupon and get the discount printed on the coupon. A series of discount coupons is valid for one day and each series has a set of discount. The coupon discounts are added to the already applied discounts, as well as to the payment method discount. Each cash register receives a coupon set at opening. The customer can choose one before the receipt is closed. When they scratch off the coupon, the discount amount is revealed and added to the receipt. There is a coupon number on the coupon (best practice is to use a barcode, so that the salesperson can read it with a barcode reader), which is entered into the cash register. After entering the coupon, the receipt cannot be changed any more and the default discount of 5 % will appear in the cash register interface. If the customer got a larger discount, you can activate it by pressing the Coupon button (add the button in the touch menu with the operation 10 – Set the coupon discount for an additional discount), which opens a list of possible discount for a given coupon.

Shortcuts for selecting discount can be prepared in the touch module by selecting the operation 10 – Set the coupon discount for an additional discount.
You can turn on coupon search in the service module by assigning it a search reference number. If a field contains a 0 it means that search is off and the search engine won't look for data when a code is entered in that field.
