Barcode Reader (Bluetooth) – Connecting with Android Devices and Scanning Barcodes to Android POS

Before you start with scanning barcodes to items on the mobile POS, you need to connect a barcode reader to the Android device.

(The following example uses a ZEBEX barcode reader.)

Device data:

• Brand: ZEBEX
• Model: Z-3250BT (B) handy Bluetooth/Wireless scanner

In the Android settings, open “Bluetooth settings” and search for “Z-3250BT” to pair with the device:

1^st step: Android settings   

2^nd step: Bluetooth settings      

3^rd step: Pair android device with the Bluetooth scanner. Select “Z-3250BT” from offered devices.

4^th step: Take the Barcode scanner in your hand and scan the offered code to pair the devices.

In this example you need to scan “069263” and scan “Enter” with your barcode reader. In Zebex box you will find a manual with numeric and alphabetic tables. You need to scan all numbers and letters to pair the device and scan “Enter” from the table below or from the manual.

When you have paired the devices and the following status:

it means that the Zebex barcode reader is paired and you can scan item barcodes.
