In this tab, you can enter and modify the general data of the animal.
| Name |
Enter the name of the animal.

| Animal type |
Enter or select an animal type. You can open the corresponding register by double-clicking the field.

| Animal categ. |
Enter or select the animal category. You can open the corresponding register by double-clicking the field.
|
| Breed |
Enter or select an animal breed. You can open the corresponding register by double-clicking the field.
|
| Purpose |
Select the purpose of the animal. We have various categories and purposes for each category.

| Sex |
Enter or select the sex of the animal.
|
| Status |
Enter or select animal status. The default value is 1-Alive.
|

| ID |
We can enter the animal ID, or we can click the  button, and the program will automatically generate an ID. When we enter the animal categories "Dog" and " Cat" and we save the data, the program will warn us that the ID should be written in 15 digits.

Enter or select the date of birth of the animal. Date of birth is a required field for dogs and equines; otherwise, an error is displayed. |

Enter or select the date of death of the animal. |

For Special note, we have codebooks where we can add all special notes. Double-click in the field Special Note opened the codebooks-Special Note

Enter a note for the animal. |
| URL link |
We can put a URL link if we have any description of the selected animal on the website. With a click on the button,  we can print the link as a QR code.

CREATE NEW GROUP
| Group ID |
Enter the group ID. ID can also be created automatically. |

Enter the name of the group.

Create ID for Shelter
Creating an ID for Shelter is a little bit different. First, we need to choose an animal category, then we can click on the button 
.
The animal ID consists of:
- Year - year set on the computer
- Data Type - data from codebooks "Animal Types"
- sequence number
