Bull Register

Bull Register

Bull register is used as a list of all sires (bulls), that are tested for insemination. Inserted bulls can then be selected in insemination tab on animal record.

Data about tests are inserted for individual year. If sire was retested for current year, his results can be reactivated through Reactivate selected for year function.

  In first column user selects animals that can be reactivated.
Sire ID ID of sire.
Sire Semen ID ID of sire semen.
Sire name Name of sire.
Breed Breed of sire. Breed is selected from drop-down and are the same as on animal record.
Tested for year Year of test.
Active User marks, if this semen is active. If sire is unselected as unactive, such sire is not visible in reproduction

 

000001.gif To add new sire semen to bull register you first have to add deafult item and default warehouse to Administration panel. If these information are missing, an IRIS message will appear. This IRIS message enables you to open administration panel in place, where settings have to be defined.
