Group Arrivals
Group Arrivals (with barcode scanner)
Ne functionality was developer in PANTHEON Farming for group entries of animal records. This functionality was developed mainly so that users can insert animal records with bar code scanner.
If user opens modal window Import Animals from Excel File, he will be able to find new tab Group entry. Functionality is described below.
On the left side user inserts details about animals in group and details about arrivals. On the right side, he inserts animal IDs.

User selects breed from dropdown. Breed has to be inserted in Items with correct Settings. |
| Type of animal |
Type of animal has to be selected. If type of animal is set on breed, this field will be selected automatically. |
| Type |
Type of animal has to be selected. If type is set on breed, this field will be selected automatically. |

Purpose
|
Purpose of animal has to be selected from dropdown. |
| Sex |
Sex has to be selected from dropdown. |
| Contract No. |
If farmer has contract farming, contract has to be selected from dropdown. Contract has to be inserted on holding. |
| Arrival Type |
Arrival type is selected from dropdown. |
| Client |
Client or location of animals has to be selected from dropdown. Location has to be inserted in holding. |
| Arrival date |
Arrival date has to be inserted. |
| Previous owner |
In case of animal purchase, previous owner has to be selected. |
| Document date |
Document date has to be inserted. |
| Total weight |
Total weight of all animals has to be inserted. |
| Price/kg |
Price per kilogram can be inserted. Based on total weight and price per kilogram, total price is calculated. |
| Total price |
Total price has to be inserted if it is not calculated automatically (look previous row). |
In the panel on the right, animal IDs are inserted. This IDs can be inserted manually or with bar code scanner. Only bar codes that include just animals ID can be scanned. Bar code mustn't include any other information. Each scan will create new row in grid. Software will create as many records as IDs will be inserted. It will also calculate average price and weight per animal.
When user finishes inserting or scanning IDs, he clicks button 
. This way data will be transferred to the same grid, that enables import from Excel (tab Import).

In group entries, there is no information about date of birth recorded. This may cause, that some functionalities like FADN status calculation or weight entry wizard will not work correctly. We recommend that user adds date of birth for each animal to the grid in import tab. |
Animal entries create single document of arrival. Properties, that distinct creation of different documents are:
- Type of arrival
- Seller
- Date of arrival
- Location
If one of this properties is different for one animal, new document will be crated for this animal.
