Wizard on Depreciation categories has two options:

1. Copy and
2. Copy Accounts for Selected Chart of Accounts into Register.

Option Copy Accounts for Selected Chart of Accounts into Register enables update of set up accounts in Fixed Assets register. Set accounts in Fixed Assets card will be changed with accounts from the new chart of accounts. Accounts for fixed assets postings are set in Depreciation Categories register. Company can change the chart of accounts due to law change or due to any other business reason.

First step is to set accounts for the new chart of accounts in the depreciation categories register as shown bellow.

From the depreciation categories register trigger wizard option to proceed copying accounts into fixed assets register.

Accounts from the new chart of accounts will change set up accounts on Accounting and Value tab of Fixed assets card
