Fertilization plan

Fertilization plan

User can easily approach to Fertilization Plan by: Tools > Fertilization > Fertilization Plan.

Fertilization Plan is a functionality which enables creating plans of fertilization considering soil analysis, expected yield of particular cultures grown and use of chosen fertilizers. With Fertilization Plan farmer can easily see what is nutrient balance between nutrient usage with yield and add nutrients by fertilization. New, modified fertilization plan takes into account nutrient usage depending on fertilization method and is possible to see differences in nutrient usages between default fertilization plan calculation which does not takes into account fertilization method and the other one which does.

There are several elements of Fertilization plan. Order of description assumes the order of fulfiling:

1. General

Here user sets general Fertilization Plan information like:
- Name of particular Fertilization Plan
- Date when Fertilization Plan is created
- period for which Fertilization Plan is created.
Within Name user can enter whatever he want in order to easily find particular Fertilization Plan.

2. Crop areas (CA`s)

In previous Fertilization Plan user was able to set fertilization Plan for only one CA. Now, it is possible to create one Fertilization Plan for many crop areas. This is very important for fruit growers which records orchard rows as CA`s. It is also interesting for crop production where the same culture is grown on many CA`s and the same fertilization is planned, so now it is not necessary to create new Fertilization Plan for each CA.

User can choose Production, so only CA`s are possible to be chosen which are used in particular production. User selects CA`s from drop down menu in the grid. One record=one CA. The name, area and Field name are automatically entered after CA is chosen.

3. Soil analysis

After nutrient values are entered general nutrient soil status is set.

4. Yields

Here user selects Yields on CA`s from Fertilization Plan. According to nutrient usage in Fertilization Plan setting (Administration Panel > Settings > Farming > Agronomy > Fertilization > Nutrient Consumption

It is automatically calculated the amount of nutrients used in particular productions considering the yield per hectare and nutrient usage per quantity of yield (in %). These information are used in calculation of nutrient balance

5. Fertilization usage

Here user selects Yields on CA`s from Fertilization Plan. According to nutrient usage in Fertilization Plan setting (Administration Panel > Settings > Farming > Agronomy > Fertilization > Nutrient Nutrient Content in Fertilizers

Here user selects fertilizers which he plans to use. After that select fertilization method, planned date of fertilization and quantity of fertilizer (total and/or per hectare). Accordingly, quantity of nutrients is calculated in kg/ha.

6. Calculation, nutrient balance
