Send animals to pasture

Grazing module enables different options of use.

• Recording pasture through tabular view.
• Recording pasture through graphic view.
• Plan grazing and create pasture from plan.

Recording pasture through tabular view

In tabular view we can insert animals on pasture directly in grid. We need to insert start date, select pasture and select animals. With animals we have to options:

• select only animal type and insert LU (livestock unit). With this information new grazing is created. Since date end is empty, this is treated as open grazing. When end date is inserted, grazing is finished.
• select individual animals. This way animal type serves as filter and LU (livestock units) are calculated automatically.

Recording pasture through graphic view

In graphic view pastures are shown on map. To be able to see pasture on map, each pasture must be selected as pasture and have stored graphics.

Information about use type and graphics are added on field.

On right side we can se details about pasture and two tabs. Tab Pasture contains list of pastures with active grazings and animals on grazing in details. Tab Locations shows all animals divided by locations (groups) with information about their current pasture. To move animals to pasture, we can use standard Drag and Drop function (Ctrl+a seletcs all animals, Ctrl + Click select wanted animals). When we move mouse over active pasture, we can release mouse button and IRIS message will appear.On IRIS message we select one of the options and grazing will be created.
