Animal filter

Animal filter

Functionality animal filter is used to search for animals by defined parameters. You first have to define filter with unique name and search parameters and PANTHEON Farming will automatically find and highlight applicable animals in different places.

Filter settings

On this form you define filters. On the left side you first insert filter ID, filter description, select if filter is active and determine color for each filter. You can see at the bottom, how filter color is used.

On the right side of the screen there is a list of parameters that define each filter. Parameters are divided in groups for general settings, reproduction and health parameters. We currently have two types of parameters:

  • fields where user can select value from dropdown (e.g. animal type, gender...). If you set this parameter, filter will show animals with selected values
  • from/to filter (e.g. age in days, weight, days after birth...). With this type of filter you can set from and to witch values filter applies for animals. In sample of the screenshot filter will show animals whose milk withdrawal date is 5 day before today or 30 days overdue.

Filtered animals

if you would like to see filtered animals, you have three options:

1. right click on each filter in administration panel.

If you select option List of animals, new modal window will open. On this form you can change selected filter an see all animals in each of them. Modal window is developed in a way, that you can move it to the side (or another screen) and work on with PANTHEON Farming.

2. new column on animal register.

Column filter shows which filter is applicable for each animals. If animal has only one filter, name of this filter is visible. If animals has multiple filters, then only number of filter is shown.

3. filter list on animal record.

When filters are created information about filters on individual animals are shown also on animal record. Filters are visible in animal record header as small panels. Information is refreshed when animal record is opened.
