Item types

The Item types register can be found within the Register | Items.

Hint
- Categorizing items into groups is important for filtering different overviews and reports. Items can be assigned with classifications and item types. In addition, the item type is important because different item types have different characteristics: services are not tracked for stock; a specification van only be customized for certain item types; etc.
- Assigning the item type to items is mandatory. Some basic item types are predefined, but you can expand the list to an unlimited number of item types.

The display mask can be split into two parts:
- Selected Item type – with action buttons.
- Item types list – access to list
