News type of dashboard components will add the same components as the ones that appear when you open your PANTHEON. Neverthless, you can still add them to custom dashboard if you wish to create a default dashboard.

You can select 3 types of news components: Forum, News, Video instructions. Once you select news type, it will appear on the form.
