Fixed assets

The Fixed assets register/tab opens either when clicking Registers | Fixed assets in the main menu, or from the boolbar in any other register.
Fixed Assets (FA) are assets that are a part of the business process for more than one year and have a purchase value of more than 500 EUR. There are several types of fixed assets: intangible fixed assets and tangible fixed assets. Intangible fixed assets are characterized by the fact that they do not exist physically (patents, licences, concessions, trademarks, etc.), whereas tangible fixed assets are physically tangible (land, buildings, biological assets, production equipment, etc.).
The window can be logically divided into two sections:
- Toolbar – with an important action button: New asset (opens a new page).
- List of fixed assets – the biggest part of the screen with fixed assets and their data, shows directly after selecting Fixed assets in the menu.
