Expanding Flowchart with One Warehouse

This chapter presents an example of an expanding flowchart of a simple company with one warehouse.

Explanation of the flowchart:

  • Goods from the supplier arrive at the company's warehouse, from where they go to the customer.
  • Receiving to warehouse is marked by the number 1000, which in this flowchart means "purchase of goods and materials".
  • Issue from warehouse is marked by the number 3000, which means "sale".
  • 1000 and 3000 are therefore material document type labels, called movement of goods in PANTHEON, which signify receiving or issuing goods from the warehouse.

The flowchart shows how and with what type of document goods and materials are purchased from suppliers, and how and with what type of document sales are made from one warehouse of the company to the customers.

HINT

Once you have drawn the flowchart, you can start entering the material document types into PANTHEON.
