Operations – SE

The form Operations is used to view the lines of the work operations on a work order (WO).
The form shows all WO work operation lines, their general information, the progress in percentage and graphically, the status and the number of already reported work operations and the planned work operations per line.

HINT
Clicking an operation card opens the form Work done for reporting the completed work for the selected line. For more information on the form, see the chapter Work done.

To open the form, click one of the WO cards on SE Work orders from. The tab Operations opens by default.

Below is a description of the form's parts:
The form toolbar contains buttons and tabs to navigate between the forms in Manufacturing.
For more details on the toolbar, see section 1. Toolbar in the chapter Work order – SE.
The header of the form shows the number and the related item (finished product, semi-product) of the WO.
For more details on the form header, see section 2. Header of the chapter Work order – SE.
This part of the form shows all work operation cards.
Each work operation card (shown in the image at the beginning of this chapter and detailed in the image below) contains general information about the work operation line.

(Work indicator) |
Visible if time is being recorded on the operation.
If you click on the indicator, information is shown of start time and employee working on the operation. |
(Materials) |
By clicking this icon, the Materials window appears with the details of the materials on the WO linked to the operation.
The same information is displayed as on the material card tab on the Materials tab. |
Operation |
The ID and the name of the operation item from the Items register. |
# (Line no.) |
The number of the line where the operation item is located on the WO BOM. |
Progress bar |
Graphical display of the progress in the work completed or received quantities for this operation. |
Status (progress
in %) |
The progress of the operation. There are two line statuses:
- Open – The status indicates that the quantity of work completed does not yet correspond to the planned quantity or that the completed work for this line has not yet been entirely finished.
- Finished – The status indicates that the quantity of work completed does not yet correspond to the planned quantity or that the completed work for this line has been entirely finished.
The progress in the issue of material is shown as a percentage.

Planned quantity |
The reported and planned time of operation completion. Displayed in the following format: 0.43/1.75 MHR, which means that 0.43 man-hours of 1.75 man-hours have been completed. |
There are four additional buttons at the bottom of the form.
(Back) |
Clicking this button, closes the form with WO details and returns to the form SE Work orders. |
(New operation) |
Clicking this button opens New operation form for adding new material lines to work order. |
(Work history) |
Clicking this button opens Work history window. You can read more about it in the section 5. Work history of this chapter. |
Receive |
Clicking this button opens the form Receive for the selected WO. The form allows you to receive finished products to the warehouse. |
In the section Work history, the data on the work completed and the quantities received is recorded.

Employee |
Displays the employee who recorded the work completed. |
Key |
Displays the key of the work order. |
Item/Operation |
Displays the ID of the work order item and the ID and name of the operation for which work was recorded. |
Planned |
Displays planned quantity of the product on the work order. |
Status |
Displays the type and quantity of pieces produced with an icon:
– Displays the quantity of good pieces produced.
- Displays the quantity of pieces for repair.
- Displays the quantity of scrap pieces received.
