List of units of measurement

Among the registers linked to the Items register in PANTHEON Web Light, there is also a Main units of measurements register, which contains the predefined and subsequently added units of measurement used in the company. All units of measurement can also be assigned a corresponding international code.

HINT

For more information on the Main units of measurement register, see the chapter Main units of measurement.

This chapter describes how to view the lines in the list of units of measurement and how to search, sort and filter data in the list.

CASE SUMMARY

The person responsible wants to view the list of units of measurement. Using the search field, the person responsible wants to find the unit of measurement HOUR and view its data. Next, the person responsible wants to sort the units of measurement by descending code and use the filter to display all the units of measurement containing the word HOUR. This is done as follows:

  1. Opening the list of units of measurement
  2. Searching for units of measurement
  3. Sorting data in the list
  4. Filtering data in the list

1. Opening the list of units of measurement

To open the Items register, the person responsible clicks Registers | Items from the main menu.

This opens the list of items, where the person responsible clicks the field Registers in the list header and selects Main units of measurement from the list.

This opens the list of units of measurement.

2. Searching for units of measurement

In the list of units of measurement, you can quickly find the desired item type using the search field. In this case, the person responsible is searching for the unit of measurement HOUR.

WARNING

In the search field, you can search by code or name of the unit of measurement.

In the field Search in the list header, the person responsible enters the search string "hour".

The searched unit of measurement is displayed in the list.

By clicking the blue code or the name of the unit of measurement HUR - Hour, the person responsible can check its data.

By clicking the icon X (Cancel) in the command line, the person responsible returns to the list of units of measurement.

3. Sorting data in the list

The data in the list can be sorted ascending or descending in all three columns:

  • Code
  • Inter. code
  • Name

The person responsible wants to sort the displayed units of measurement by descending code.

To do this, the person responsible clicks the field Code.

A new window appears where the person responsible selects the person responsible selects the Z-A icon (Descending) from the list in the section Sorting. The codes will be sorted by value from largest to smallest or in descending alphabetical order.

WARNING

In the column where the sorting is currently activated, the arrow down icon is displayed.

4. Filtering data in the list

The data in the list can be filtered in all columns by specifying different conditions:

  • Starts with
  • Equal
  • Empty
  • Not empty
  • Contains
  • Does not contain
  • Ends with
  • Not equal

The person responsible wants to filter the units of measurement so that only units of measurement containing the string "HOUR" are shown.

To do this, the person responsible clicks the field Type.

A new window appears, where the person responsible selects the condition Contains from the list of the field Filter by condition.

In the empty field, the person responsible enters "hour" and confirms the filter by clicking the button Submit.

All units of measurement containing the searched string "hour" are displayed and sorted in descending order by code.
