Entry of other animals

During the first examination, the veterinarian first enters the animal into the program, where a unique code for the animal is created. In the program PANTHEON VET we can enter different types of animals.
In this chapter, we will present an example of creating a new code for a bee colony. The functionality is located in the menu Veterinary | Codebooks | Codebook of owners and animals.
 |
DESCRIPTION OF THE EXAMPLE
The owner of a bee colony comes to the veterinary station to obtain medicine for the regular treatment of the beehive. Before issuing the medicine, the veterinarian or the responsible person at the veterinary station enters the bee colony into the program. The process of creating a new code for the bee colony will be carried out with the following steps:
- Searching for the owner's code
- Entering data in the Basic Data tab
- Entering data in the Other tab
- Printing data about the bee colony
|
1. Searching for the owner's code
The responsible person first checks or searches for the owner's code, where they can then create a new code for the bee colony. A detailed procedure for searching for the owner is described in the chapter Searching for an owner or animal in the codebook.
 |
WARNING
If the owner is not yet entered into the PANTHEON VET program, the responsible person first enters the owner, then the animal. Detailed instructions can be found in the chapter Adding a new owner.
|
2. Entering data in the Basic Data tab
The responsible person enters the bee colony into the PANTHEON VET program. A detailed procedure for entering basic data about the animal in the tab Basic Data is described in the chapter Animal entry (general).
The image below shows the final data entry for the bee colony made by the responsible person.

3. Entering data in the Other tab
After entering the basic data of the animal, an appropriate tab is created based on the selected type of animal. In our case, the tab Other
 |
was created.
WARNING The tab Other
|
 |
is created for all other types of animals except for the following types: dogs, cats, cattle, equines, small ruminants, pigs, poultry.
TIP Entering data in the tab Other
|
-
is for informational purposes only, and the data is not mandatory. In our case, the responsible person enters data in the field Tag No.,
-
where they write: BE5563. In the field Origin (o)
from the dropdown menu, they select: Foreign.
4. Printing data about the bee colony If the responsible person wants to check or print the data about the bee colonies for the owner, they do so in the manner described in detail in the chapterAnimal entry (general)
.
