Custom fields

Tab Custom fields allows veterinarians or staff at the veterinary clinic to systematically collect data, even if there are no predefined fields for them in the program.

In this chapter, we will present an example of data entry in custom fields. The functionality is located in the menu on the tab Veterinary | Code lists | Code list of owners and animals, tab Custom fields.

TIP

For more detailed information about the program forms, read in The Guide to PANTHEON VET, in the chapter Custom fields.

WARNING

Custom fields must be activated or created in advance in the Administrator console. The detailed procedure is described in the chapter Custom fields.

CASE DESCRIPTION

In the veterinary clinic for animals originating from the Shelter, additional information about coat color and behavior is collected. The procedure is described below.

  • The responsible person at the veterinary station finds the owner of the animal in the Code list of owners and animals. The detailed search procedure is described in the chapter Find owners and animals - Simple.

  • Clicks on the animal for which they want to enter additional data and then clicks on the tab Custom fields.

  • In the field Color they enter: Gray, with orange stripes.

  • Continues with the entry in the field Behavior: Scared, scratches and bites.

  • In the field Previous owner they enter: Shelter.

  • Data is saved by clicking the button Save
  • A window opens with the notification: 'Do you want to change the animal's data?'
  • The responsible person clicks the button Confirm.
