Parasitological examination

On the tab Parasitological examination we see data on parasitological examinations that have been performed on the selected animal.

In this chapter, we will present an example of reviewing the treatment records of an animal. The functionality is located in the menu Veterinary | Review animal history | Parasitological examination.

CASE DESCRIPTION The veterinarian is interested in the data on the parasitological examination of the dog Poppy, owned by Jasna Jerebičar. They will look at the Animal History Review form. Follow these steps: Animal History Review form Parasitological examination tab

1. Animal History Review form

The responsible person wants to look at the history of parasitological examinations of the dog Poppy on the animal history review form.

On the form, they already have filled in the data about the owner and the animal: Jasna Jerebičar, dog Poppy.

TIP Instructions for searching for the owner on the Animal History Review form can be read in the chapter Searching in Animal History Review and Advanced search.

WARNING If the owner has multiple animals registered, the appropriate animal must be selected from the dropdown list of the field Animal.

Continues with reviewing the history of parasitological examinations.

2. Parasitological examination tab

The responsible person positions themselves on the tab Parasitological examination.

In the column Treatment there is a record of the type of treatment document that was created: 22-CLI1-000001.

TIP By double-clicking on the field Treatment the related created treatment document opens.

In the Document field, the related documents are visible, in our case it is an issued POS invoice - surgery.

In the field Date it shows that the treatment was performed on: 4.11.2022. 

The sample was taken by the owner on 02.11.2022, which we see recorded in the column Sample taken and noted Date of sampling.

It also shows here the information about when the sample was received in the clinic and who received or examined it. In our case, it is Sample received by: Valerija Veterinarian, Date of sample receipt was: 4.11.2022 and Examined the sample: Valentin Veterinarian.

In the lower part, there are data on the services performed, in our case: Microbiological analysis - feces.
