Import of dental diagnoses

In the code list Dental diagnoses we can enter data manually or import them from Web services. By transferring, we simplify and speed up the work, as we avoid individual entries and import the entire set of dental diagnoses with just a few clicks.

TIP

Instructions for various ways to import data into specific code lists are presented in the chapter Import of code lists.

In this chapter, we will present an example of importing dental diagnoses from the server.

DESCRIPTION OF THE EXAMPLE

The veterinarian wants to save time when entering dental diagnoses in the dental diagnoses code list, so he will import pre-prepared data from the web server. He does this by following these steps:

  1. Opening Dental Diagnosis
  2. Importing dental diagnoses from the server

  3. Saving to the database

1. Opening Dental Diagnosis

The responsible person wants to transfer pre-prepared diagnoses from the web server to the dental diagnoses.

For this purpose, he selects the menu Veterinary | Code lists | Dental diagnoses.

A list of already entered dental diagnoses opens.

Continues to import data.

2. Importing dental diagnoses from the server

PANTHEON VET allows the transfer of pre-prepared data from the server in some code lists.

The responsible person wants to transfer pre-prepared dental diagnoses from the server.

In the toolbar, he clicks on the button  (Import/Export) and selects the option Import dental diagnosesfrom the dropdown list.

A window appears Dental diagnoses - Import search tables.

In the empty form, he specifies the criteria in the section Criteria for which he wants to transfer data from the server.

In our case, he selects in the field For country the option: SI.

By clicking the button  (Download from server) all dental diagnoses for the localization SI are transferred to the lower part of the window.

By default, all diagnoses are marked for import. In our case, he leaves all selected.

TIP

On the list of dental diagnoses, we can remove the checkmarks if we want to import only the dental diagnoses we need.

3. Saving to the database

In the last step, the responsible person clicks the button  (Save to database).

A window appears with the information: Completed.

The pop-up window Confirm and closes the window Dental diagnoses - Import search tables.

The selected dental diagnoses have been transferred to Dental diagnoses.
